OekoGlobe 2011: MAN Lions City Hybrid bus honoured
The panel of judges for the coveted German environmental prize "OekoGlobe 2011" awarded the MAN Lions City Hybrid bus third prize in the category "Vehicle innovations in public transport". With its serial hybrid drive, the hybrid bus from MAN saves up to 30 percent on fuel and thus on CO2 emissions.
MAN TGX EfficientLine in the Supertest of the trade magazine “Trucker“
The MAN TGX EfficientLine with 440 hp has been tested in the Supertest of German trade magazine “Trucker“. Verdict: Excellent. The German Design Council named the Consistently Efficient Tour 2011 blog winner in the first Automotive Brand Contest . The jury’s expert members recognised the top-notch realization and quality of the tour blog. The blog shows in great detail how the MAN TGX 18.440 EfficientLine used 3.0 litres of diesel less per 100 kilometres than a reference vehicle.
