A very well designed cab from the point of view of ergonomics maximises driver concentration and fitness levels. Anatomically-designed seats and operator control elements support the driver with the responsible task he performs behind the wheel. A powerful air-conditioning system also quickly ensures and sustains a pleasant climate in the cab at high outdoor temperatures. Comfortable beds, a high standard of interior functionality and plenty of practical space in the cab are the basic comfort features provided by MAN.
Perfect seat comfort
MAN provides first-class ergonomic seat comfort in all vehicles for day-to-day use on long routes. All driver's seats are air-sprung, lend the driver optimum lateral support, have a simple operating logic and have high quality upholstery.
- Ergonomic seats with individually-adjustable lumbar supports support the spinal column
- Seat air-conditioning with seat heating and cooling is available on request
- Integrated three-point seat belt with seat belt reminder fitted as standard
Enhanced driving safety due to simple operator control elements
With increasing traffic density, the demands placed on truck drivers have risen. Easily accessible, mistake-proof operator control elements ensure confident control of the vehicle. An example of this is the multifunction steering wheel.
- The cruise control, radio and telephone are operated without having to take hands off the steering wheel
- The central display provides information about the functions selected
- Large vibration-free side and kerb side mirror ensure effective overview
More interior comfort
The volume and tone of driving noise has a significant impact on stress-free driving. This is why MAN has reduced the noise level in the interior of the TGX and TG Series at a road speed of roughly 80 km/h by 30 percent. The thermal insulation in the MAN cab is a perfect complement to the air-conditioning system.

Sleeping facilities with all the comforts of home and ample stowage space for journeys
A well refreshed driver drives attentively and with concentration. MAN cabs are therefore equipped with high-quality beds that offer all the comforts of home. MAN has introduced the following additional comfort-enhancing features for the cab environment:
- Up to 850 litres of stowage volume
- Luggage can be safely stowed away in practical compartments and drawers
- A sound system with subwoofer under the bed, high-range loudspeakers in the A-pillar and mid-range loudspeakers in the doors provide exquisite music sound quality
